As I was reading through Mary Morris’s writings I discovered that my great great great grandfather was her bishop in SLC. She even talks about having dinner at his house with his first wife. Mormonism is a small world!
I am curious why a picture of my gggrandmother and g grandmother and Aunts would have been placed with this polygamy article. They were not Mormon.
I am an Auterburn descendent and this picture has been misconstrued to say the least.
Please remove the photo labeled GENERATIONS OF POLYGAMOUS WOMEN: Jane Arterburn Sartin, Elizabeth Sartin Davis, Bertha Davis Ezell, Lillie Ezell Hargis young girl is Mary Lois Hargis dau of Lillie Ezell Hargis.
None of these women were Polygamist! They all had single marriages. This information is false and I’m not sure where you got it. Jane Arterburn Sartin is my 3rd great grandmother.
