It doesn’t feel right to have male testosterone driven vocals at the beginning of Year of Polygamy.

I’m with Jason. It needs to be a female voice and Mikelle’s song nails it. Plus it’s not twangy like the other 2.

I like the my disguise song best. Also it’s by a woman which was the original intent of year of polygamy to tell the women’s stories. (And it doesn’t sound western/country). I worry that this song won’t get votes because it is hard to see on phone apps because it’s off the small screen to the right on many phones.

I like Tom Bennett’s Song, especially as bumper music. It’s got a great, gradual build that would lead perfectly into podcast. They’re all cool tunes. I’m just honored to be considered.

I love and am buying all three. Lindsay here is what I would do if I were in your shoes.

I REALLY love the idea of having a woman sing for this podcast. However, I think the beginning of your podcast needs more energy than “My Disguise”. Here is my thought: I like “All My Wives” catchy rhythm and energy and its applicable lyrics for the intro of the podcast. Then I’d love to end with the quiet reflection and emotion of “My Disguise” at the end of the podcast. Her song reminds me of my journey with the church and “All My Wives” is a brilliant way to draw your listeners in and promises they won’t be bored. My Disguise will leave your listeners reflecting on what they just listened to.

Kudos to the Train my train of thought, it really drew me in. I just think the other two are better fits for this podcast.
