    First off, what an interesting picture of Elizabeth smart and her captures. I’ve never seen it, the look on her face almost looks like she is pleased to be there with them. The brainwashing must have been deep. I wonder what more their is to the story that we don’t know.

    Also, great episode, it’s amazing and terrifying to see how deep extremism can go.

    Just listened to both parts, and I see that they bring up the question of how, exactly, one might distinguish the righteous but unpleasant words of a true prophet from the ravings of a lunatic, or worse, the self-serving pronouncements of a truly evil man. This is not a question I can address easily, as my religious traditions make no special allowance for the first of these. But clearly the question must be answered, lest those of evil intent, or simply crazy folks, exert undue influence over believing people.
