This episode just awoke a memory from my teens when I read “A Study in Scarlet.” It is a Sherlock Holmes adventure that has a lot about early Utah, the Counsel of Fifty, the Avenging Angels, polygamy and Mormons in general! I remember thinking as a teen “this is so funny how wrong this book is there’s no such thing as the Counsel of Fifty, lol.” I want to go back and read it again because I’m sure it’s a lot more correct than I thought.
