Hey Lindsay,
Love your work. I can add some in-site to this story. My sibling moved to Missouri and they became acquainted with a bishop in Independence. He stated that the modern Mormon migration was very troublesome. The members would pack up their families, quit their jobs and move to independence taking no thought of how they were going to survive. This came usually from some sort of personal revelation. They then would expect the church to find them a place to stay, feed and help cover bills. The Bishop said it happened all the time.
Weird. I’ve never heard of anyone doing this, or even talking about doing this, in the 2 different wards I attend. Are they all related to the Daybell cult or something similar?
It’s a shame that Wikipedia’s Mormon war page doesn’t have much of the historical information your guest provided.
This history about the Missouri War is sickening, Mormon mobs are cruel and abusive, i lose respect for groups that are t honest about their past.
That underground place is for real. Since covid broke out there has been a huge influx of Zionists.
