Matthias Cowley and Abbie Hyde are my ancestors. It was fascinating learning more about their history, as well as Matthias’s other wives, on this episode. I’ve heard many stories about my pioneer ancestors, but never from any other perspective than uplifting. As awful as some of these stories are, I appreciate having a deeper understanding of who these people were. Thank you for all of your work!
