Thank you for this interview, Lindsay. Lawrence is indeed a man of integrity. I was involved legally in some of the events that he described, and his descriptions are accurate, though I learned a few things from listening that I didn’t know. It’s great to hear how well his children are doing now. I hope Lawrence is successful in his bid for public office. He would do a great job!

Lawrence, Thanks for sharing your story! It was totally heart-rending and tough to listen to. I’ve known for so long about so many of these heart-aches others are going through like yours. My hubby and I are SO grateful you have your family! Thanks for “doing the right” things. We wish you and your wife and your family an abundance of joy, love and light and blessings now and always!
I’d like to chat with you and others about the up-coming election for some ideas. Please contact me at dragonflykdecker@gmail.com

This episode…woah Thank you for sharing his story. I’m so moved by this episode, moved by his personal testimony of Christ, moved by his love for his wife and his children, moved by his compassion, and just moved that this is REAL this exists. The determination of the FLDS and I would say LDS to protect the organization above anything else is scary.

A weird bit of irony….. The person who Lawrence talks about that was poisoning his girls against him is actually “Mother Irene” who is also the cousin of Lawrence. She is the one in Podcast #120. Just an example of how close everyone is to each other there and yet fighting for different things.

I’ve met Lawrence Barlow on a couple of occasions. You can tell he still has a strong love of Short Creek and he’s back now in the community doing all he can to help it evolve.
